        The Big Picture: I’m running for office to represent you, not to sell your data. Your info stays with this campaign. While we use professional voter files (VAN/L2) for block-walking, the data from this website stays on its own "island." We don’t harvest website data to "pad" those external databases, and we never share your info with third-party data harvesters.
    

What We Collect

Site Stats & Cookies: We use cookies for Google Analytics to see high-level trends. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Transparency Dashboard: We believe in being an open book. Our public dashboard displays anonymized data (City and Dollar Amount only). No personal user data is uploaded here. Note: PACs are disclosed by name per transparency standards.
Direct Info: If you sign up, we collect your name and email. If you manually choose to opt-in for texts, we collect your phone number too.
Donations: Handled entirely by ActBlue. We do not pass your website data to them, and we never see or store your financial information.

SMS & Texting

Real People Only: Any text from this campaign is sent by a real human volunteer. No "robo-texters."
Automated Texts: If you receive an automated text, it is likely from the Texas Majority PAC. Those are separate from our website "island" and have their own opt-out rules.
Manual Opt-In: You will only see the phone field if you manually check the box stating "I also want to receive text message updates."
Privacy: We do not share mobile information or opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Opt-Out: Simply tell the human volunteer who messaged you to remove you from the list, and we will honor that request immediately.

How We Protect Your Data

AWS DynamoDB: Encrypted, private database storage.
Strict Access: Only vetted campaign team members have access via IAM roles.
Encryption: All submissions are secured via SSL/TLS.
Bot Protection: We use honeypot fields to block automated scripts.
